Dreams. They’re sometimes nightmares. [Part 1]

It was past 11 when I was able to sleep. Darkness covered all.

This is where the dream begins.

I was talking with two strangers. Let’s call them Guy A and Girl B. Guy A invited me to go with them to this haunted castle-like house to look for his girlfriend. I willingly went with them.

When I opened the door, it creaked, and an eerie atmosphere greeted me. Guy A quickly went inside, ignoring or rather, not noticing the eerie atmosphere that surrounds the old house.

Girl B stared at me. She waited for me to go inside. To take the first step. She didn’t have any expression. She was just staring at me. So I just did. I mean, what the hell. I don’t even know what’s going on and how I got to know these people.

It turns out that we were witches and wizards since we were carrying a wand along with us.

“Lumos.” Guy A’s wand started to give a glow. A glow that was enough to illuminate what was in front of him. Girl B and I did the same.

There was not a window in sight. Neither was there a lamp that will help us look for the girl.

Guy A lead the way since Girl B and I were useless. He immediately went to the basement. It was just a normal basement with a bookshelf.

What? I thought. How could there be a bookshelf in a basement? I mean, it’ll be all right if the basement was converted into a library or a bedroom. But there was nothing in the basement!

It was pretty obvious now that there was some kind of secret room behind the bookshelf. Guy A’s hand ran along the side of the bookshelf. Click.

It was a secret room all right.
